MYOSKELETAL ALIGNMENT TECHNIQUES

Myoskeletal alignment technique is an integrative marriage of the work of Vladimir Janda, Rolfing, and manipulative osteopathy created by Erik Dalton in the 1980's.

MAT works by incorporating muscle-balancing techniques with joint-mobilisation maneuvers, with therapists identifying and correcting dysfunctional neurologically driven strain patterns before they become pain patterns.

Rebalancing the body into a more optimal alignment and developing strategies to maintain that alignment means that postural aches and pains will melt away.
